Hello, just curious if you can get small flat screens with a hdmi and usb connection? Or atleast HDMI.

I just want a flat screen about 10inch that has no function at all but I can plug a chromecast into and use as a screen while I am doing cardio,in bed etc.  I have been looking at tablets but do not need all the other functions and the cheap ones run slow.

Thank you

10" panels tend to be more of an industrial product hence harder to come by and less economical than larger (17"+) consumer displays.

You can get "USB Monitors" however they're also costly ($300+) and need a Windows device to drive them.

As you're wanting to cast to your device anyway I think the most economical and practical solution would be a cheap Android tablet.

7" for $80.70: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/TABOLE7095/Ollee--MB709Q57-7-Tablet---1024x600-13Ghz-Quad-Cor

10.1" for $138.00: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/TABUIS5110/UNISURF-101-Tablet-Black--Quad-Core--8GB-Storage-1

I see your concerns about cheap tablets being slow however if you're just using it for whatever you would be driving a monitor with anyway (playing a single video etc) you should have no issues with the above.

From AliExpress you can get 7" and 10" panels that take an hdmi. They just don't have all the frame around it. I have one on my computer In a cupboard.

I just double sided taped it to a piece of mdf and put the connection daughter board On the rear.

We brought 2 7" field monitors for work from aliexpress(https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/EMS-Free-Andoer-7-Ultra-thin-on-Camera-Video-Monitor-Full-HD-1920x1200-IPS-Screen-with/1803782_32701850521.html?spm=2114.12010612.0.0.7U1FvG).

Not cheap when you compare it to what you can get in bigger monitors however it has a fantastic panel(1920x1200 IPS).

Not sure about 10" but the same seller on aliexpress has a few and when i was looking amazon do have some that may suit what you want to do but from memory do not have anywhere near the resolution.
