I have recently installed a new graphics card and an HVR-2200. Just interested if anyone is using one successfully or has tuned one it okay.

I have it working well although it breaks up every so often and goes absolutely nuts when I use the cyberlink audio decoder as well as the cyberlink powerdvd decoder.

Still some audio lag and stuff to work out but the quality of the video is beautiful.

Yup I am running an HVR-2200 and seems to be working just fine.  I've had it running just analog under WinMCE2k5 and just digital under Media Portal.

For MP I run the Cyberlink codecs, can't remember the audio codecs but no lag seen here yet.

I might just have to push my luck and throw a spare analog tuner in for Prime though.

Do the analogue functions of the HVR2200 work under MediaPortal?

I haven't actually tried to get it to scan for analogue channels yet under Mediaprtal.
I will have a try and post back wether it works or not.

Ditto, I have yet to try analog under MP.  To be honest, I think I will throw my spare PVR150 or MCE500 in there for the analog stuff just to keep the digital as freed up as poss.

I'm with you, I use 2200 it is fine, replaced an HVR 1100, & I'm going to chuck my PVR150 back in for prime (& some old videos). I have some stability using GBPVR/Live HDTV, suspect either my graphics card (ATI HD3870XT) or monogram aac decoder, recorded stuff is fine, so the hauppauge is probably not my issue. I like the 2200 so far.

i still havent got around to checking out the analogue under mediaportal yet.

Are you using GBPVR for the hvr2200?
I added some lines to the bda.ini and then was able to select it in the digital recording area of the config program but it wouldnt let me scan for channels.

After I'd added the HVR-2200 to the BDA.ini file, I restarted the machine to be sure.  I told GBPVR to get the EPG from the DVB-T feed first which sorted the scanning, then switched it over the the xmltv file I hold.

All worked first time (one I remembered to replug the UHF aerial back in)

Using the latest version of gbpvr?

I will try again now I have restarted.
When you set it up did you select update epg which saves the tuner settings and then select map channels afterwards?

Er.. I think so.

To be honest, after playing so much with DVBViewer, GBPVR & Mediaportal so much in last few days I've kinda forgotten which one had what settings.

I do remember though for GBPVR I set it up to get the EPG from the broadcast first - that way it tuned just fine. Then I added the XMLTV file and did the channel mapping (which was a pain BTW)

Anyone got the analog side of the HVR-2200 working in MediaPortal TVServer?

My understanding was the analog side currently won't work under Media Portal or GB-PVR (but fine under WinMCE).

That's why I threw an old WIN150 card back in - just for Prime.

I did get the digital side working after a reboot but had no luck with the analogue so far.

Hey guys and gals.

Noticed last night that my HVR-2200 was recording 2 channels and I was watching another.  I need to do some more testing; i.e. actually set up a test and check the results but with only 2 digital tuners on board is this even possible or was MediaPortal just reporting one of the recordings incorrectly (as I haven't actually watched it yet)?

Digital Terrestrial TV comes in three muxes, so in theory with three DVB-T tuners you could watch and record all shows at once.
