Hi there, I was told recently that there is some sort of extended (out of) warranty recall/replace/credit/something for early Panasonic UHD LCD TVs, due to some issue with HDMI.

Anyone familiar with this, and can share details?

I was told it's related to dodgy HDMI 2.0a, but I wonder if it's actually an HDCP issue.  Not sure.

Thanks, any info much appreciated!

Not a UHD, but I have no end of HDCP issues in my setup, which includes a Yamaha AV receiver and a Panasonic VT60 plasma.

Yep. Am told this issue only affects early Panasonic UHD units. Going back to original source to get more info.

I initally had issues with HDCP with the igloo boxes and a Yamaha receiver - from memory one of the firmware updates made it all go away.  Might be worth a try on your Yamaha receiver.  (Originally with an LG television, but just in case a firmware update helps)
