Hello,

I currently have a Motorola DTH-335-4, this model has dual scart output ports on teh back. What I want to do is to use both ports on the decoder one for the tv and the otehr for my mce box so that I can record sky on the MCE.

The problem I have is I can only one option for the output on the sky i.e. I tell it to output for RGB but no option to change the second scart to say s-video?

Does anyone know how to get around this issue as when I tune in the decoder on my MCE picture is black and white?

Cheers

With most of the Motorola decoders and early Paces, if you select RGB or component on the TV SCART (ie a 3circuit output) then the VCR SCART is only left with composite as an option. Quite simply there are not enough output drivers to accomodate all options at once.

One point on the menu system, when you enter it you are first asked to set the TV SCART ouput (note the top blue banner says TV SCART) immediately you shift to and accept (with the centre oval button) the menu moves directly to the VCR SCART selection (again not the top blue banner) some folk miss what is happening.

Ok that makes sence, so when the VCR Scart appears that is the option for setting up get the second 2nd scart port for say S-Video?
