Hay I have XP MCE 2002 and a Winfast TV2000 XP expert, tv tuner card. When i go to the tv settings in MCE is tells me the hardware is eather malfunctioning ar the correct drivers are not installed, however i have updated them already and the Winfast PVR software will let me watch tv so what would the problem be?

I had a later version of MCE and had no end of trouble getting it to agree with tuner cards. My suggestion would be to try a google search first although there are some pretty knowledgeable geeks around here who will speak up shortly I suspect.

Pretty sure that TV tuner is not a hardware MPEG2 encoder type which is needed for MCE.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.
