Hi Guys
Firstly let me thank everyone for the input in "How to wire your Home" earlier this year.
Finally progress with builders etc, but I am confused to say  the least re "sound system".

Many  "installers" are suggesting some form of system to drive the end product  ie Zon, Russound, Control 4, etc. They maybe necessary in the future so will prewire for them.

I would appreciate some impartial input  there.

I basically wonder about  eventually two separate systems, one downstairs a two zone 7.1 HD 1.3a amp which will allow me with HDMI splitter to sent HDTV around, Freeview or Sky.
Zone One   downstairs theatre
Zone Two  is background music, whether it be CD, Phono, AM/FM radio, Internet radio. is it possible to split into several independant sound sources?

I was wondering whether the system could be based around. a " Qualifi " product or similar. Hope I have links right.

Web site details are at qualifi.com.au.  The basic box is a SSWVC6

The two main links

http://www.qualifi.com.au/mmbase/attachments/103993/q-link_brochure.pdf    Hope I have these right?

What I am wishing to do off Zone Two is get several sources of basic sound,"basic stereo musac" around, if possible and run the whole system with I R and a Logitech Harmony remote. I will add second system "media room" upstairs sometime in future.
Maybe run Windows Media Player of computer as well. Screensaver on TVs/
Any one have suggestions inbuilt speakers? The boss downstairs does not wish to see any speaker enclosures.
Am I dreaming? Input appreciated.

Thanks

Regards
