Hi all, I have a 32pf9531 32" LCD that has recently started losing it's picture. When it does it the screen switches off (for want of a better term) but the sound remains, it doesn't appear to be a signal problem (RGB via sky) as when i change to a different source the screen is still blank ( it doesn't even display the tv menu icons when prompted)

I'm going to call philips tomorrow and see what they have to say. Does anyone know the warranty period on Philips LCD's? I've had it around 18 months. Apart from this issue i have no other complaints about it..

Cheers, Dan

When it turns off grab a torch and shine it at the screen and look closely - can you see a picture (try bringing up the sky guide as a quick test page)? If you can, your backlight has turned off, often the result of a faulty inverter.
