Hey guys. I am aware that there are 1 million threads about SKY HDI on here already but i have a few specific question that cant easily be found on other topics.

1) When will there be more HD channels to view? Since i do not have sky sports, and i only have sky movies would this be worth that extra 10 bucks a month?

2) What are non HD channels like using HDMI? will they look better than RCA Red, White, and Yellow plugs? (I hate the pixelated look of sky on my 37" LCD television. Terrible, especially watching fast moving content)

3) Does the HDI decoder come with the latest firmware to record 2 channels at once?

4) Finally just to sum this up, does this thing have internet capabillites? (maybe it was a rumour or something?)

1) No idea.

2) TV1 and TV2 are OK, TV3 much better but other channels not great.

3) It always has been able to record 2 channels but you could only watch either one of the shows you were recording or a show that you had already recorded. As a result of the last firmware upgrade it is now possible to watch a third chanel while recording two other channels.

4) At this time, no.

There is an Ethernet port at the back of the box, currently tagged as "for future use".

If/when enabled could be used to download on demand content via a broadband connection.
