Hi,

I am running a Lenkeng LKV714 PRO-V2.0 Extender splitter to 3 TVs. Splitting a MySky signal.

2 receivers are working fine. 1 is not. The connection with the RJ45 into the receiver seems loose and will not stabilize on the blue light.

Not sure if it is a result of the connection (have tried 8-10 different RJ45s) or something else.

Any suggestions?

Move a working receiver to where the non working one is and see if it works, and vice versa.

I had a spare 1 and tried that with the same result.

Also tried adding the option 12v power.

Do you suggest I try another one that is proven to work?

Yep, move the non-working one to a location that had a working one. If the problem moves, the issue is the hardware. If the problem stays in the location, it could be a cable length issue, or an issue with the sender.

Another thing to try would just be changing which ports the cables are connected to on the sender.

You will be able to narrow the issue down to one of the sender, the receiver or the cabling in between.

Also, have you tried a new HDMI cable into the sender? Tried power-cycling the sender?

Hi,

So I have managed to get them all going individually. But soon as I have 3 plugged in only 1 will work.

The lights are all blue indicating that the signal is been received. Is there a restriction on how many TVs can have MySky split to them? or an issue with the different screen resolutions?

Lenking seem to be one of the more legit brands, so it may be doing HDCP correctly in which case the source may refuse to negotiate with more than one display.

You can try putting a more friendly HDMI splitter ahead of it and see if that helps things out.

Have you tried other sources into the sender like a PC? Then see what it reports to the PC as the display type. Generally if you get the actual name of the display then the device isnt stripping out HDCP, whereas if it comes up with a genericy name like HDTV as the display name with the splitter plugged in and no displayes, its generating its own EDID and probably negotiating HDCP on its own without caring what the outputs have.

What model displays are you using? Are they all the same resolution?

I've put loads of these units in (lenkeng) and various other versions of their models and not encountered this problem - but I believe there is a button on each receiver unit to adjust length?

Can you get ahold of a data pinout tester and see if there is an issue with the cable?
