Hi All

New to the whole HDTV and home theater thing. I've just bought a Samsung series 6. We dont have a proper AV amp so i'm playing around with what I have to hand. The PC has a logitech 2.1 system which got plumbed into the Audio out. All good except on every channel if I have the TV audio and the the "external" audio connected and running at the same time there is a horrible echo , probably a couple of hundre mS.

Is this normal.

Andy

It's fairly typical, there will always be some processsing delays.

My only question is why you'd want both sets of speakers playing at once? Surely the point of the external ones is to replace the TV ones?

Ahh. The old Sony CRT internal speakers were the 5.1 front and sides. I'm applying the same logic and running them together.

Thanks for that.
