NO AV OUT ON MY TV???


hi there, i have a samsung plasma tv, and im trying to use my   vosonic VP8360   to record tv,
  but,... i have to plug a   3plug   RCA into the a/v out in my telly,and  i havent got one??any body know if i can get round this??? i have tryed pluging it into the dvd player,to pick up tv,  but the vosonic , only picks up the dvd screen.....??any ideas....

You need something with a tuner. An old VCR would do the trick or a freeview box or sky decoder etc.

I think your cheapest option might be 3 of these

Stick them on the back of your sky box and run the RCA output direct to the TV and the vosonic at the same time.

Otherwise as mentioned before bung an old VCR in line and grab the feed from its RCA output

Dont split video with those since the level will get messed up - there are 3 outputs on sky boxes so use one to the tv and one to the recorder.

AV out is becoming a thing of the past since they cant send anything thats HD, component, HDMI etc out the output, and its simpler to leave it off then explain to angry customers why they cant get a cruddy composite signal from the tv to record.
