Win 7 32 bit or 64 Bit for HTPC

I've set up MCPCs in XP and Vista using Media Centre and Media Portal. I'm about to do another and intend to use Win 7. I'm not in a Freeview T serviced area so will be using a Hauppauge WinTV Nova-S card for FV and maybe Sky. My preference is for 64 bit Windows but are there driver issues etc? Am I safer saying with 32 bit or does the experience of others here suggest that 64 bit will be reasonably succesful?

Why do you have a preference for 64 bit?

For win7/vista im just using 64bit wherever the processor supports it on any install i do. Allows for the 4gb+ of memory if i ever decide to add more.

If you intend to use more than one extender (i.e Xbox 360 extender) 32bit is the way to go, apparently the 64bit version doesn't like running more than one extender. Unsure if this is a consideration, but after setting up my extender in the bedroom you can essentially watch anything thats on yours media centre and I'm keen todo the same in the kids bedroom which would be a no goer if I was using Win 7 64bit.

Probably not an issue for you, but on the off chance you were considering this in the future I though I might mention it.

I used Win7 64 bit and had no problems and would recommend it (although, my machine now never sleeps and it used to. Hmm, wonder if that's cos of 64 bit?).

Using x64 with no problems. Also used Vista X64 with no issues.

No driver issues now, a couple during Beta and RC stages, but RTM has brought software and driver updates that are working great.
