Hey guys

I need some money for a ATI5770 so I thought I would sell my old htpc.
It's around 7-8 years old but still plays hd vids alright.

It's a dell precision 340

It's got a P4 2.4ghz cpu
512mb RDram
dvdrw LG IDE
Nvidia 6200 128mb (low profile)
250gb IDE HDD

So how much do you guys think i could get for it.
Dont need much as the ati 5770 is only $280

I used it for watching vids and I never hade a prob

Don't think you'll get all that much for it, unfortunately (I have some hardware of around that age I want to sell as well).
I'd say $100 max, maybe $150 if it has a legit WinXP licence and CD's.
In parts, the barebones system (case, motherboard PSU) + CPU would be worth ~40ish
I'd say $10-20 for the RAM if it was DDR, don't know what RDRAM sells for.
Maybe $10-20 for the video card, and $30-50 for the hard drive.

The RDram we brought was $200 for 2 128mb sticks (it has for of them)

Also what if I put in a little more ram. I dont know if it works or not but it would up it to 1gb I could also put in some speacker Logitech LS21 (2.1)

Unfortunately time eats away the value of technology very quickly. When you can buy 1GB RAM modules for $50, a 128MB module has no real value at all as installing it takes up a slot that could be used by a module that provides a useful amount of memory.
