Hi Guys

1st time poster, long time reader Smile
Anyways... i'm having some issues with a new Nova-S plus card, in windows 7 mce the external inputs (s-video and composite) arent recognized by mce so it will only allow me to set up the satalite feed - which also does not pick up a signal and is also useless! However when using the win7 program that came with the card the s-video input works but is black and white for some reason.

Is there some trick to getting this working properly? im scratching my head over this one!

The Nova-S plus does not have the required hardware encoder for the external analog inputs (s-video and composite), so it is not usuable by windows 7 mce.
If you want to use the external analog inputs you will have to use a software encoder app, like the SoftPVR supplied with the card from Hauppauge.
or get a card with the required hardware encoder and is compatible with Win7 MCE
