Does anyone out there have any experience with the CAM6.6T from Russound
I have managed to setup the inbuilt FM Tuner, but I can't get a AUX source to work.

I recently purchased a Russound CAM6.6T multi room audio device from Eastern Hifi Ltd.
Because they have closed down I am unable to turn to them for help setting this device up.

I have downloaded the installer software called  'PC power tool' and have managed to setup a connection from my PC to the unit. I am having trouble deciphering all the controls available in the software.

I have my Walkman plugged in as a AUX source, I just want the unit to pick up the 3.5mm - 2RCA connection and play the music coming from the Walkman.

I'm more interested in getting hold of the detailed installation manuals than having someone show me how to fix my problems.
To get hold of the detailed installation manuals for this equipment you need to be a Russound dealer, so I'm hoping someone out there is and can help me, or can push me in the right direction.

Thanks

Grant

Thanks for the reply,

Yes I already have this manual. It doesn't have any information on how to use the PC Power Tool software that Russound have created to manage the CAM6.6T. There must be installer manuals out there produced by Russound, if anyone has any other literature or advice I would appreciate it.

Hi Grant, I would approach Russound direct, I am not aware who the NZ agent is (now that Eastern is cuput) and the Russound site does not list an office in NZ, therefore as I see it unless they can point you in the direction of the NZ importer and in turn install support then you have a reasonable argument to request further info.

Failing that approach the Aussie distributor.

Cheers
Cyril

Taken from Trademe

"Avalon Audio bought the assets of Eastern HiFi Group which went into receivership in January 2010. As part of that aquisition Avalon Audio has taken over this Trade Me membership.

Avalon Audio is a specialist audio products distributor and operates from a warehouse facility in Penrose Auckland, it also operates a showroom in Newmarket Auckland.

The company holds distribution rights in NZ for Onkyo, Integra, KEF, Boston Acoustics, Russound, Celestion and Biema."

Thanks Cyril and tkr001

Ill approach Russound.

I have approached Avalon in the past about my Onkyo 906 Amp which I bought from Eastern Hi-Fi. They were not very interested in offering any kind of support.

Thanks
