Hi everyone,

I received my HID Omnikey 1021 and have got Oscam and Acamd working but DVBViewer only picks up 14 channels when I scan the Optus D1 satellite. It does pick up a few encrypted channels (Mainly the ones that require a phone line, eg. weather, playintv etc.). It also picks up MGM which I can watch and it shows the ACamd and OSCam are working and communicating to each other and to the card.

I now just need to get DVBViewer to scan an pick up all the Sky channels then I need to sort out DVBLink and WMC.

Can anyone help me as to why DVBViewer is only picking up a few channels of Sky (15 channels to be exact)

I am scanning frequency's between: 12267 to 12734.

Thanks!

If you only get some channels, make sure you have the correct LNB frequency set. Then scan again.

Here is a screenshot of the "Scan Channels" window with the configuration I am using to scan. Please let me know if that information I am using is correct.

Just read over this topic : HERE
Slightly off topic but it gave me these LNB freq. to try:

LNB LO: 10750
LNB High: 10750
LNBSW: 127 50

That has worked and I am now receiving all 90+ channels from SkyTV on my HTPC.

Thanks!

Bingo! sorry cannot view your image where I am, but when you only get some channels it is usually the LNB frequency being set to to something other than 10750.

Now that that problem is out of the way. I can watch all the channels in DVBViewer and that's cool but I want to be able to view them all in WMC. I've got DVBLink installed but unsure what to do from there.

When I setup a tv tuner in WMC I select one of the DVBLink tuners but then when I scan the transponder in WMC it doesn't find any channels. How am I suppose to get the channels into WMC?

Thanks!

I'm on a roll today. I got rid of DVBViewer and downloaded DVBLink TVSource. Setup DVBLink got all the channels even setup the epg. Now I have full working SkyTV on my computer.

Wasn't as hard as it turns out to be. An updated guide would help a lot. The two pinned ones are a little outdated.
