hi there .

i just bought a Toshiba DVD player from trade me but it didn't come with any cables . so was just wondering what cable would i need to get audio and video out from my TV . the TV is a Panasonic plasma TH-P42U30Z



DVD player specs :
Optical out 
Component out 
Scart out 
AV out 
S-video out 
DVD model number is SD241ESB  

also by chance would anyone know how to multi region this DVD player . I'm actually struggling . any help would be much appreciated

Use component out for video and L/R audio out for audio.

However wouldn't you have been better off getting the Toshiba BDX1200KY Blu Ray? Only $99 at JB HiFi. It upscales DVD to 1080p with HDMI output.
Anything without HDMI these days is out of date.

Try Googling "SD241ESB Multi region". Might find something. I found SD240ESB easy enough which will probably work.
You could perhaps ask the vendor too?

Component cables are often horribly overpriced so be careful of that.
