2009 Sony 26 inch LCD screen was knocked and now when turned on has a cracked screen appreance..
What is the insurance companys policy for this.... ie repair the screen or have the TV replaced.
Tv was bought in 2009 and cost $764.15

Insurance claim passed thru cleanly, about to get the new 26 inch LCD Samsung from local Bond & Bond store...... their choice!! Insurance with Westpac, NO EXCESS!!!!
In fact better tv than the one which had to be replaced...

"If you’re 55 or over you can pay more for your insurance and have no excess at all."
Wonder how much extra they charge? Probably more than the TV is worth over a few years?
