Thanks for the welcome guys, I am not sure if this is the really the right place to ask (I tried finding a topic on the site but couldn't seem to find one). I am looking to get in IT, i have been using computers most of my life and fine with the basic stuff, I am looking at the moment to get into some sort of helpdesk stuff and i want to know if anyone knows of any good courses or places i should start? I have been looking online but don't really know of any, if anyone could give me any pointers or tell me of a thread that covers this that would be awesome.

Thanks :)

Chris

Your best bet is gain experience, go to the local computer store and ask for work-experience, then you can work on courses that go to the area of computers you wish to go for, following NCEA Level 3+ stuff you can learn basic all rounded skills, or CCNA for networking. But again, experience is the key.
