Hi all

I have just joined Geekzone.

I have worked selling IT in Wellington for many years mostly at EDS. I now have changed sides and buy IT services for a major bank.

I'm a budding home theatre geek. I have a Vista based Media Centre with a Xbox 360 Elite acting as an wireless extender. The Xbox is currently attached via HDMI to a 42 inch Samsung Plasma. I also have a digital Sky decoder attached which I want to update to a mySky HDi shortly. I run all the audio through an old amplifier and am keen to buy one of those Onkyo TX-SR606 receivers so that I can create a decent media hub for video and audio.

I see Geekzone has a relationship with Amazon but am unsure whether it is a good idea to purchase the Onkyo through this as I am worried about warranty and voltage etc.

Look forward to learning and sharing.

Regards Ray

Welcome to Geekzone!

About the Amazon store - they don't usually deliver electronics outside the US - mostly books and other articles only.
