Greetings everyone

It feels good to join geekzone where its clearly not a problem to be "one who is perceived to be overly obsessed with one or more things including those of intellectuality, electronics, gaming, etc"

And where I hope to get good answers to many questions.

Sure enough I have many computer projects on the go - at the moment its a combination of a Windows Home Server box, an email server, a media centre pc with media portal - and all so I can just watch a bit of TV and read my email when my 3x teenage boys are occupying nearly every screen in the house. Oh and WHS lets me put it all back to the way I want it after they finish hacking it to be the way they want it.

My background is electrical engineering, however I have done all sorts of hardware & software, plus law, accounting, personnel management etc. My job is General Manager of a process automation company.

In my spare time I play tennis and learn speaking & leadsership skills at my local Toastmasters club.

Unfortunately that only leaves a couple of hours for sleep - not really enough...
