Stumbled onto Geekzone by accident.

Keen to explore this site further to find out whether this could be useful for my business and that of my clients.  My company is Accounts Online Limited and we provide very simple, easy to use accounting and payroll systems.

I am not sure if this statement has over stepped the commercial posts restrictions it is simply stating why I am here.

As long as you don't spam the forums with off-topic posts about your business site, you'll be fine.  The most blatant abuse is a brand new user posting about an "awesome site I've just discovered" - you then find out it's their own company site.

Put a small link in your signature to your site (like mine), and if you are unsure just ask, we are a friendly bunch.

Lastly, welcome to GZ!

Hi there,

I am happy to advise our accounting software (designed specifically for New Zealand & Australia) is very suitable for builders and any other type of small or medium sized business.  We have many builders using it and is very flexible regardless of whether you are doing small jobbing contracts or major spec. projects.  The advantage of our system is there is minimal data entry, this is great for busy business owners who would sooner spend their precious time doing things other than the books. Literally within minutes (most 5-10 minutes) per week all your book work and GST is complete and at the end of the year you simply email the file to your accountant to complete your end of year accounts and tax returns. The reason it s so quick is that it accesses (with your permission only) all of your bank statement transactions and you teach it to recognise repetitive transactions and to automatically code them for you. It is also cool for doing budgets to take to the bank if you are requiring additional funding for a project or capital purchase.

If you would like more information please email info [at] accountsonline [dot ] co [dot] nz and mark for my attention, along with your contact details.

Look forward to your reply.
