Hello.

Wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself.

Not a computer wizz by any means but I like breaking them and trying to fix them, much to the anger of the missus who can never get on the computer because it is "being fixed"

Currntly running Windows XPx64 and Ubuntu, for no other reason except that I can.

I hope to learn as much as I can from the friendly folk around here.

I am a graphic designer from Manawatu, currently in freelance mode.

I look forward to you insults and helpfull replies.

Hi. Welcome.

You'll learn lots here, but the "friendly folk" ain't too friendly.

Geeks have terrible manners and most (if not all) have multiple personality disorders so it makes it quite hard to have meaningful dialogue with many of them.

Other than that make sure you're always wearing clothes when in front of your webcam and you'll be fine.

Good one. Don't worry about Handsomedan. He must be traumatised today... We're a friendly bunch. Unless you break the guidelines, troll or be just a jerk. In this case the gates of hell open, and the hounds are released. We just banned someone today who couldn't take the heat - sure he was posting copyrighted material here and didn't like when we brought that to his attention...

As I said, follow the rules (not many, mainly common sense) and you won't get (too many) insults.

One too many contract renewals today..my apologies for the naked webcam visual thought processes.

Lol thanks guys. I will try to adhere to the rules.
I am anti plagiarism and love busting people that think it is okay to practice such malarky.
Can I get a link to that thread?

Webcam comment made me chuckle.
