Hi,

I live in Wanganui NZ and tinker with amateur web design, spreadsheets and other software. Not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but always a trier.

I attempted to access a thread for some assistance on a topic but the thread window goes blank after about 1 second.
I wondered whether I needed to go through intro before being able to access threads, so here i am.

edit: Ok, seems it's to do with Safari. I can see my own thread, but not anyone else's. Firefox works ok.

Welcome to Geekzone. Interesting you are having problems with Safari - 10% of users access the site with Safari and I haven't seen any problem. Ad blockers?

Thanks for the welcome.

Interesting, I was having the Safari problem on my iMac and I've just switched over to my MBPro and it's fine here.
Browser is set block Popups on both machines so I don't think that is the issue.

To my recollection I've set the browser prefs the same on both machines but there's always the possibility that software has made changes in order to function I guess.
