Is anyone still up at this hour?? Laughing

If this definition of geek is anything to go by, maybe I am one... It is commonly believed that the word "geek" originates with side-show "circus geeks"

My job title is a Technology Consultant and I work for a large global evil corporate I am afraid to name Tongue out

I spend most of my time programming with the odd real consultant work thrown in around client interfacing, presentations, BA work, etc. Specialty is business applications and currently in the Telco industry with prior experience in media industy and utility industry (North America)

Wish I could call myself a Guru around a particular language but have spent the fledgling 4 years of my career catapulting between PERL, 4GL, C#, JAVA and C.

That was my day-job speel...

What really earns me the circus geek title is my obsession with GAMES and the net...... I'm a PS2 player. I also own a GBA and a SNES and I have every SNES game under the sun on my ZSNES emulator collection. I also am getting into SecondLife.

Oh and yes, I spend waaaayy too much time on the net.

Plus I like shiny things... (much like an ostrich) My i-mate JAM was my best friend until it died on me so I am on the prawl for a new PDA phone.

Geekzone has been a good place to read up on reviews and articles. Keep up the good work.
