Hi there

I am on the hunt for a new laptop and I'm not sure what to get. I previously had an HP Envy 15.6 JO45TX and quite liked it - good screen and graphics, fast computer.

I had a fault with the screen and they offered a replacement, however, the shop do not have this model any more so I need to look at another computer (can be any brand).

My budget is $1300. What you think I should go for?

By the way, i use my laptop for my business online, but don't do anything like video or photo editing, website building (i do a little but nothing crazy). Pretty general use with the laptop - although I am on it a lot and generally have about 30 tabs open!

Thanks in advance!

This HP Envy on offer at PBTech this weekend is great bang for your buck at $1370.  Probably overpowered for your needs, the main plus point for you would be the high res screen, and future proofed for a long time, and can play modern games with its decent graphics card.

If you are happy with 1366x768 resolution, there's loads of options for under $1000 that would suit your needs. Will it be mainly used at home or is weight and portability a requirement?

Do you have to buy from the same shop? If so what store is it so we can see what their range is.
