Hi there, I'm looking for a mid range laptop with Intel Core i5, 4 to 8 GB of ram and 500 GB hard drive.  I'm not going to be running heavy software, I just want to buy a reliable model for everyday use.  If anyone has some good recommendations that would really be appreciated.  Thanks

Have a look on trade me , you don't have to spend that sort of money to get a middle of the road laptop.

I just picked up this for $175 its a I5 with 8gb of ram and 500gb hd, I just dropped a ssd into it today and its as fast as hell.

Does it have to be new ?? , you can save some $$ by having a look around.
