I have the option of purchasing a mid-2012 Macbook Pro Retina SSD CPU speed 2.6 GHz Cores 4 Memory 16 GB Hard drive 500 GB Screen size 15" CD / DVD None . Used as a back-up in office so only has 320 battery cycle count and no marks or dents.

OR  

mid-2014 Macbook Pro Retina SSD CPU speed 2.5 GHz Cores 4 Memory 16 GB Hard drive 512 GB Screen size 15" CD / DVD None Used for photography and video, battery cycle 858, some marks on bottom      

I'm looking at $1800 for 2012 or $2100 for 2014. Will be used for graphic design software and general use.    Could someone please advise which is the better buy?
