I bought a Dell Inspirion 530, C2D, E6550, which didn't have OS. It originally had Vista.
I installed XP Pro, but can't get the drivers for the networking ethernet.
Dell won't help saying I installed XP instead of Vista.
I just can't figure out how to get the right drivers to get on the net.

CAN ANYONE HELP FIND THE RIGHT DRIVERS FOR THIS DEVICE?????

PLEASE..

Dan

1:  http://support.ap.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=nz&l=en&s=lca
2:  Enter the Service Tag ID from the back or the box
3:  Change the OS dropdown to Win XP
4:  Profit?

Here's the list of drivers. I don't know which one would be correct, so I tried the Intel, and REaltek.  The Intel shows up as the driver, but the other devices such as PCI, etc still don't. Also, it still doesn't connect to the net. Can anyone perhaps call me and talk me through this. I don't have any problem with that. Anyone who can help, PLEASE CALL 760-448-6222

Were you trying to use the Dell New Zealand website? But your phone number indicates you are in a different country?

If so, try the Dell website for the country you are in.
