Kiaora everyone,

Just a quick question - my laptop recently had a wee tumble off the side of my bed (oops) and since i have noticed the processing noises to be much more audible than before. The noise is the same as that you used to hear in old pc's when they were thinking...

Laptop is a Dell Studio xp 16 and is less than a year old.

Should i be worried? The sound is not continuous, but sometimes it goes on for a little while. I have read in a forum that it means potential hdd issues (not surprising from the fall), but im really hoping its nothing. 
I can send it in as its still under warranty, but since its running perfectly im not sure what to do.

thoughts to ease my mind?
