Not sure if this is the right place to put this, so sorry if its not.
I brought a nokia 2355 from an Appco sales man who came to my door (same guy sold me broadband with telecom last year) anyway it came with an accessory pack which I am still waiting for 3 1/2mths later. Anyone else had this problem? Telecom are not able to help really as they are not the company which sold the phone to me but Appco wont return my calls, emails, faxes etc. Upon searching telecoms website there does not seem to be an accessory pack for the Nokia 2355... which makes me wonder if I am being taken for a ride. Have spoken to some lovely helpful people and some very unhelpful people at telecom about this.. Any ideas anyone? Appco is now saying its telecoms problem cause it was telecom that previously sent me the wrong pack previously... Argggh....

Hey, i can tell u straight away, there is no leather case for nokia 2355, but u still can have the car charger, becoz the car charger can be used on other nokia phones as well.

the nokia 2355 are exclusive for TRS which is Telecom Retail Store, that's why u can't get the leather case for it any where.

be honest, I hat appco, they are just the dealer of Telecom, but always told the customer lies. so in the furture, if u really needs a phone, go into a proper shop and do it. then u will know exactly what u r getting.

cheers and good luck.

Theres plenty of Universal holsters/pouches out there, not too hard to find one that fits.

thanks for the info. I am aware that I could get a generic pouch etc from another place, The issue is that I paid for a product and didn't get what I paid for. Thanks anyway.
Oh and in future I will never be buying off appco ever again.

Hi Nicolette

If you PM me with your details I will be able to pass them on to the Telecom Account Manager for Appco. A free combo pack seems normal for Appco to offer, but as stated below there is not such product for this phone.

Appco can’t not lay the blame on Telecom for this one, as it’s not 'Telecom' who send you the phone and combo pack, but a 3rd party distributor. They can only send products that exist.

Cheers

When the 2355 was launched you are correct, it was exclusive for TRS, but has been available to ALL channels for quite some time now.

Totally agree with you here. Appco are useless and they will tell customers anything to get them to sign a piece of paper! They always say things like; "It doesn't matter that you are currently in a contract with Telecom, we can upgrade you anyway. And you can keep the same number etc" And then they will sign them up for a new connection with a new number.
Moral of the story: Go into a store! Then you can take it back to where you got it from for help, issues etc!

Sorry for the rant! They just really p*** me off!

Please if you are employed by Telecom or one of Telecom's Dealer Store, do not rant on about Appco in such a way, it is not a good look. Complain through the correct chanels, not in the public view.

Cheers

I just cannot believe Appco are still in existence! I was under the impression that went belly-up.. or was that "mainly mobile". I'm confused now.

Mainly Mobile, they are now a combination of TRS and Leading Edge Stores.

To be honest for a better experience and customer service (Mobile Products and Services) Id recommend going into any TRS, Leading Edge or ORB store.
Appco have caused many a headache unfortunately.

While I appriciate everyones advice to go to a TRS thats all a bit of a moot point now as I signed on to a 2yr fixed contract with Telecom when I brought the mobile off Appco, not knowing then of course that any of this was going to occur. Had I known I would not have brought the phone in the first place. So lets ease up on this consumer ok?

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Now I will repeat what I said above,
