Hey all knowing Telecom people I've been in Levin for work for the past few days attempting to use both my Huawei 150mb enabled dongle as well as iPhone 5s on Telecom and struggling to get usable speeds on the mobile network on iphone and laptop.

Speed test shows a max of .25mb both when it can complete and ping  telecom.co.nz / google works sporadically and is at the least 3 digits when it doesn't time out...

Issues with the cell site or am I just a spoilt city dweller used to 4g 100mb speeds? When I get to Foxton it starts working fine, and have tried at multiple locations around Levin.

How does one report such a fault with the big T?

Cheers,

Jono

Is it a Telecom supplied dongle? (And if not, is it the rights bands for Telecom?)

Also, Telecom has no 2G network as indicated in the thread title, only 3G and some limited 4G coverage.

Telecom don't have 4G coverage in Levin.

To lodge a fault I'd suggest ring their customer service.
