Hi There,

I am travelling to NZ for a 2 week holiday soon and was looking to get a Skinny SIM.

I notice there is a bonus data offer at the moment, but the details are a bit ambigious.

The T&C state:

Bonus 3GB Offer: only available to new customers who activate their Skinny SIM and purchase their first eligible Monthly Combo before midnight 6/1/15 and renew for following two renewal periods.

If I activate a new SIM and apply the $16 combo, will I get the extra 1GB of data from the start? Or does the extra data only get applied at the end of each month?

Appreciate any insight you guys can provide.

Thanks, it seems like a great deal - $16 for 1.5 GB data and 100 mins to NZ and Australia!

Simple fact is consumers don't respond to loyalty rewards like they used to.

Coming from the industry I have gotten to know how quickly people will ditch there old service provider. Most wont ensure they are comparing apples with apples, or give the old provider an opportunity to compete.

Skinny data doesn't roll over though does it? Tempted by this but i'd rather have the rollover.

Just got 1Gb extra on my $19 rollover plan, with 12 months to use it, and another gig promised next month as the deal ends on Jan 31st. So, 2G extra free in total, but last for a year... (If only it took me that long!)
