Good morning all, i have access where iwork to a telecom hotspot location and the signal is Good, im trying to use my Ipod Touch to Connect to the Hotspot, when im at home it connect to my wireless router Perfectly, but when i try using my Xtra, login to hotspot, i get "incomplete or badly formed parameters, please try again, so i got another person to try it for me, and it did the same, is there a patch i need or parameter change for this unit? or does ipod touch are crap Fullstop

Not having used the Telcom hotspot, I can't say.

However, most of those hotspots require you to use a web browser to authenticate yourself once you are on the network. 
That means the device will not connect automatically.

I have heard of iPod Touch's working on these types of hotspots, so it's probably not "that they are all crap".

Once you open a web browser and try to surf somewhere, you'll be presented with a "log in" screen.  Log in, and the
device is then able to properly connect to other services.

thanks for the help, yeah i originally did all those steps and it just comes up with that error, it normally display a little popup Screen with your idle time and logoff button, so im unsure of what to do, i might just talk to Xtra helpdesk and see what happens
