It is me? - does there seem to be a lack of supply of Samsung phones of late (Specifically the Spark ready ones)?

 

I see the ones advertised on the website have their prices increase (I guess to slow the demand), and the other retailers no longer have them listed, and the local shops have sold out.

 

Is there a worldwide shortage on them?

 

Anyone know whats going on in this arena?

Wife tried to get Samsung Galaxy J1 last weekend but they were sold out. Got a Sony Xperia instead.
