I recently moved to CHCH in a area called Northwood. I applied for braodband service but Telecom told me that all the available prots is full and the cabinet has reached full capacity so there is no braodband available. I have to wait for someone to relinquish their broadband service before I can get connected. They told me to wait 6 months before they install new equipment. Has someone out there who has had a similar experience? Do I have to wait 6 months (or more) to get braodband or is there other ways to get braodband with other companies?
