Hey guys,
Im having trouble with my modem. About once every 2 or 3 minutes the ADSL light will start flashing and i will be disconnected for about 20-30 secounds
I herd that if i change the modulation mode to adsl 1 multimode it will fix this but i wouldnt have a clue how to do that.

It is definatly not a line problem and i have filters in all of the jackpoints being used.
maybe its the modem itself? As is has had alot of use in the past

Hi, you have posted your LAN and Wan IP config, not your ADSL stats, that would be more useful, and welcome to GZ.

While it's not impossible that it may be a problem with your modem, more than likely it's a line-related issue. You have an issue that people will refer to as 'intermittant dsl' or a 'disconnections issue'. This is symptomatic of your line conditions fluctuating to an extend where your modem having to renegociate the connection every few minutes.

Given that about 90% of problems are within the walls of your home, your own wiring is a good thing to check first.

Try unplugging all other telephone devices so that the BB modem is the only thing in the house plugged in. If the problem goes away, then try plugging things back in one at a time until you find the offending device or jackpoint.

If that doesn't fix the issue try plugging your adsl modem into a different telephone socket in the house and/or change the filters.

If none of that work, call the people who get paid to hear about your problems ;)
