Long time watcher, 1st time poster.

I've had a look at the archives before posting but can't seem to find my answer.

Q: Should I be able to make adjustments to my in phone Calendar with Bitpim?

I can download from phone to bitpim but it won't seem to let me send any adjustments to the phone. Doesn't even seem to allow this option in the send data window.

Help please.

Thankyou

The Calendar writing was disabled in Bitpim 0.7.28, supposedly it had issues, however many mm-7400 users (from Sprintusers.com) have reported success in writing to the calendar with Bitpim 0.7.27. This can be obtained at Sourcefourge:

Don't know the limitations in Bitpim, but there's always Datapilot aswell.

Thanks for your advice. I downloaded Bitpim in the last week and Im pretty sure its Version 0.7.37 so that'll explain why it doesn't work.

I'll have a look at the datapilot site too.

thanks

im having trouble using bitpim and datapilot. they do not recognise the 7400 phone which then doesnt allow me to transfer ringtones and calender items. any ideas on what to do, or other programs that work to do this.

Hi Prothallus, only the New Zealand version of Datapilot will work with the NZ Released Sanyo's. Primarily due to the differences in firmware etc, we had a version done for New Zealand.

If you've bought a copy of Datapilot and are having problems, feel free to drop us a line for support. Provided you can give us the correct information to validate that you actually own a copy (and didn't pirate it), we'll be able to assist with resolving any problems you may have.

www.datapilot.co.nz - Then select Support from the menu.

Thx
Jp.

Make sure you've selected "mm-7400" as the phone type in bitpim. not sure about datapilot.

Datapilot has an Auto Detect option, or you can manually select the Com Port & Phone Model.
