Wow... This was announced seven months ago, and the HTC Universal (the model's name) has been available in the market for at least two months...

isn't this a bit late? the discussion was on for weeks if not months...

There are a lot of other "rebrand" of this device half around the world, announced and sold already.

hmmm.... thought you knew about the announcement?

Ahhh well. No need to be sarcastic. I thought it was cool... and it still is cool. I better find something else more recent and post about it so that I can redeem myself in geekzone geekdom ;)

If I could find a search tool in these forums that doesnt take me to google I might have done a more thorough check. In the meantime, I'm still thinking of whether or not it will support iTunes and if I can run my whole home entertainment from this one device...

No, it is not compatible with iTunes... But if you want to use it as a remote control for a media player on your PC you can run something such as Rudeo - it's very nice.
