Is anyone else having trouble with the telecom t stick becoming disconnected often because of usage overload in the Kelburn Wellington New Zealand region? My mobile broadband is not available for me to use on most evenings. I have complained to telecom but they say that I cannot expect 100% connection but I think that losing it for 3 or 4 hours or more on most evenings is not ok. Are others having this problem and if so have you found any way to fix it.

I have a similar problem here in Dunedin, New Zealand. For the last few days, I am disconnected immediately after connecting, despite having $6.80 left on my pre-pay T-stick.

A call to Telecom solved my problem. It turned out to be a problem with the billing system that didn't enable me to stay connected. The issue needed to be escalated to someone further up the totem pole. In my case it had nothing to do with "overloading", as per the original poster.

David.
