Is it true that you can get free wallpapers and videos on vodafone now? I texted in "audi tt" to [shortcode], it says that it does not cost me anything, is this true?

[Moderator edit (MF): removed shortcode]

Where did you get this shortcode from? And why "Audi TT"?

Is this one of the numbers you see on TV ads with alternatives a) b) c) for some competition?

The wallpapers themselves are probably "free" but there is a "4.95 charge" billed to your account twice weekly. etc etc etc, plus you will pay data charged (to vodafone) to download the crap content....

Stick to the ones on VLIVE

or try and goto www.google.co.nz/xhtml and search "images" use the browser menu to save the preview images to your handset.

That's why I asked where did that number come from. It's probably one of those TV ads with a small print "subscription services, to stop send 'STOP' to [number], blah, blah'... And his bill will never be small again...

no no, I got it from an audi ad in the newspaper, I checked it out, it is actually free, as it is run from within VF live,. The content itself is free, and there are no data charges, again due it being run from VF live. It is actually a link to it on "What's hot" on VF live as well, so it is actually free. Not bad that... Yep these are free. They are in vodafone live and they are paid for by the advertisers (Audi in this case). Remember in vodafone live you will only be charged if you see a page telling you a cost. Browsing around is free.
