I'm currently on the 40GB per month plan, and wish to upgrade to 60GB a month. I'm just wondering, when is the best time to do so? If I did it a day before the 40gb reset, would I be charged for both the 40gb and the 60gb? Or if I did it after the 40gb reset, would I still be able to use the 40 gigs I was charged for, or would it instantly change over to the 60gb plan? I hope this isn't too foolish a question, but I was unable to find out on the Telstraclear website.

Cheers.

It prorated on a daily basis, so you will be on the 40Gb for part of the month and the 60Gb for the other part of the month.

Not quite right from my experience...

The 40Gb plan is prorated for the start of the billing cycle.   You are then charged the prorated rate for the 60Gb plan until the end of the billing cycle, however, the 60Gb of data is not prorated to you.  You in fact get the whole 60Gb to use between 'now' and the end of your billing cycle, so it's kinda nice little 'bonus' for moving up.
