Hi people,

First post here but I'll be swift - I have imported a Sharp 903SH phone from japan. It's unlocked (I unlocked it myself) but, The phone doesn't seem to play .mp3 files, although the data sheet for the phone claims that it can. I've got them in the right folder, it can play .mp4 files perfect (and in sweet surround sound too).

It's running the japanese firmware - does anyone know if the nz version is available so I can flash it myself?

Thanks in advance.

Also, I've configured the internet access settings correctly by putting the settings from the vodafone site in, but whenever I press the menu button it goes to a "Re-Provisioning" screen which asks if I want to get the latest provisioning data and update, which subsequently fails. Anyone have any ideas how to disable that? Oh - the vodafone live thing doesn't appear to work either, just sits at a blank page! maybe my configs are wrong ;(

you need to have it reflashed to Euro firmware to be able to play mp3 and get rid of re provisioning nag. as for the settings i posted it somewhere here in the vodafone section. good luck!

Thanks for the responses - I got in contact with Unlocker and he's going to be flashing it for me this weekend. I found your post on the settings too, thanks - also tried vodafone live after putting the settings in but I wasn't getting any WAP access. May be a .jp firmware issue.
