I'm trying to set VOIP on VF-NZhg556, the VOIP account is the free one from 2talk, phone number start by 028, I will buy the 10 dollar plan if the VOIP does work on my moderm

The thing is I can't press save bottom after fill in my SIP ID, User name and password on SIP User paper.

The save bottom is clickable but not able to save any data on SIP user page but it does work on SIP Server page

I did my setting follow by these steps:
1. Login using the vodafone admin details
user:admin
pass:VF-NZhg556

2. Goto Voice->SIP->SIP Server
SIP Server (dropdown) = Primary Server
SIP Proxy Server Address = sip.2talk.co.nz
SIP Proxy Server Port = 5060
SIP Registrar Server Address = sip.2talk.co.nz
SIP Registrar Server Port = 5060
SIP Service Domain =sip.2talk.co.nz

Click "Save" (do not click Save/Reboot)

3. Goto Voice->SIP->SIP User
SIP Account = SIP 1
Enable Flag = Enable
DO NOT TICK "Active SIP Account"
SIP ID = 028xxxxxx
User Name = 028xxxxxx
Password = xxxxxxx
Leave all other settings as is

Click "Save" (do not click Save/Reboot)

Now, it may autocorrect and put vodafone.co.nz on the end (mine did), just re-type and save again.

4. Leave web admin open, then Telnet to your router
user:admin
pass:VF-NZhg556

Type this into the prompt:

voice set all enable (then enter)
save (then enter)

This part sets that "Active" checkbox in the webadmin that refuses to tick

Is there anyone had this kind of issue before?

Hi there

Just wondering which browser you're using? Sometimes Internet Explorer doesn't like some of the modem configuration pages. If that's the case I'd suggest trying another browser or enabling compatibility view in Internet Explorer.

Cheers

Dylan

To Dylan:

I have tried both IE and chrome, both of them didn't work,

To Predated:

Thanks for the replay, but I'm having trouble to click the save button on SIP user page, the one beside the save/reboot button, I have to save my SIP account information before telnet, am I right here?

Use IE with compatibility mode turned on.
Chrome does not work properly for some reason, neither does firefox.

I know enough to be dangerous
