Vodafone are a bunch of dickheads - they won't support blackberry connect on my p910i. They took my money, and then told me the device wasn't supported. Initially it all worked, then 12 hours later my access to the blackberry connect website was suspended. I am seriously unhappy.

Have you checked with CS that the BB internet product is sold on your Vodafone account

When was the service suspended? Are you sure you are not being impacted by the BlackBerry meltdown? The BlackBerry systems died from 18 April 12noon due to a system failure on their servers. The system is back but very slow because the service was down for longer than 13 hours.

In light of the poor communication from RIM, who appears to have not updated their help desk during a big part of the event, and knowing how the Vodafone help desk sometimes do not know about more specific services, perhaps the CSR told you the service was not compatible simply because s/he didn't know better or didn't know about the problem going on?

I am still trying to find out if Vodafone New Zealand was affected by this long BlackBerry outage.

We use Blackberry's and have not seen any outages. We are using Blackberry Enterpirse, which may use different servers?

Have you checked with Vodafone CS that BB BES is sold to your vodafone connection

A Vodafone person tells me he didn't notice anything and from Unison's report I believe the problem didn't affect New Zealand. Perhaps the "BlackBerry meltdown" affected U.S. only - and of course their media report "Western Hemisphere" because there's only U.S. in the entire hemisphere, righ?

Anyway, please discard this option. Do as johnr said (twice already) and check your account.
