From here it looks like the same thing that happens when you exceed your data cap (packets dropped to keep speed down to 64k).

On the side, why packet loss, not throttling?

You can't hold packets in a buffer forever, eventually they have to be dropped...

Hi All,

Yes unfortunately there was an issue with the network for ISP customers , was a nasty little issue that had our team very busy as you rightly pointed out, this was resolved around 08:20 for our ISP customers. we sincerely apologize for this and any inconvenience caused.
