I have a clear view of Vodafone tower RSM 212373 (Mt. Studholme) but Vodafone's helpdesk tells me there is no show for the Rural wireless broadband only 3G is available.
Does anyone know what the status of this tower is. It seems to broadcast on a frequency which supports the rwb.

Ill get JohnR to look into.
Might not be equiped for it either it is too far and your fed from another cell.
Can you see yourself covered in the RBI map?

Its the only Vodafone tower in this area. I am about 1800 metres away. The Map says I am not covered. If that is actually the case, I would like to know why that is (hardware?)

Not all Vodafone towers can provide RBI. To do with capacity both between handset and cell and backhaul.

Also, RBI towers are required to be able to colocate.

As above RBI towers are upgraded normal mobile phone towers with extra capacity on back haul and the air interface,

Just cause you can see a site it does not mean it's going to be used for RBI

Just checked the Vodafone RBI coverage map and ' Mt Studholme ' will get RBI coverage in the future under the final lot of upgrades / new sites

Not sure of your address so not sure if you will be covered
