Hi I need some help, I have a Motorola V3x from New Zealand didn't get it Parallell. I flashed it with unbranded firmware and want to get MMS working. Tried a few settings but to no avail. Vodafone live is working, I did that through the Vodafone NZ website where they sent me a browser message and it configured itself, although it has no pictures on Live which i guess is a problem. I just want to know the settings for MMS as I need to set that up to send and receive pxts and I guess that's in WebAccess, Web Sessions on the V3x. Thanks

When you said setting it up by vodafone website

Did you mean this site? http://wireless.vodafone.co.nz/phonefirst

It should have the mms setting for V3x

There are only WAP and Email OTA settings on the wireless data portal for the V3x.

You will need to go here and manually configure your handset

When I go to messages then options then setup then multimedia msg setup it has 3 options

Composing MMS
Receiving MMS
Server Info:

I can't see where I can manually enter any of that information from that helpdesk page.

It should be under Server Info, otherwise you'll need to check the user guide

Send yourself the settings for the K3, they're the same. :)

I went to http://wireless.vodafone.co.nz/mms and said my phone was a K3. I received the browser message but it didnt work. It had an error but the error went away instantly so I don't know what the error is.

The settings are probably full.

Go and delete some web session profiles that aren't being used (ie; anything that isn't VFNZ) try resending once you've done this. Good luck.

Tried deleting as there were a lot of websessions, but you couldnt delete any of them. Flashed to a new firmware with less pre-installed websessions, got the K3 mms settings sent and it worked!!Laughing thanks for that Jeffthechef. Sent myself the WAP settings for the V3x with the new firmware and this time it has pictures so everything is working well now, vodafone Live and MMS.Cool
