I'm was hoping to use a Linksys WIP330 at home via my Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router with XNet VFX. See:

http://nicegear.co.nz/ip-phones/linksys-wip330

However, when I phoned the VFX helpdesk to find out if there would be any issues auto provisioning it they informed me the phone could not be provisioned and that there would be no way to get the phone to work on the VFX network at this stage. Is this correct?

Yes that is correct and actually this unit from when we took at look at it was not very good in our opinion, battey life and general all round peformance was not something we belive would be a viable product with VFX

Ok. I'm pretty keen using a Wifi handset. Especially one that I could use with cafe.net and telecom hotspots as well as around the home. Has WxC got plans to add any wireless ip phones to the list of supported hardware that you'd recommend?
