Hi there
Since Nov 2007 my neighbourhood went through a procedure called 'migration' of the dsl line. However, here when the problem
starts... My internet used to be down rate 900-1000kbps before the migration and now (till this day) its 192kbps!!!!
In a family of 5 and with 4 computers at home, it has been a very difficult time for my family...
I dont know whats going on because everytime i called Xnet they always replied with a simple answer 'We still dont have an
update on this issue'.... And now its really starting to fustrate me because i feel like i have jsut been ignored from Xnet....
Today, i decided to act on my own and kindly ask my neighbour's who lives just beside and realized that their internet speed has
actually became faster ever since the migration!!!!
My questions are:
1. Does it really take 7 weeks to solve this matter?
2. Why is my neighbour getting faster internet (10 times faster than my 192kbps) compared to me?
3. Why is it after the migration my internet became so much slower?
4. Will a so called 'splitter' ( a service that costs $130) really solve this matter?
BTW yes i did test my friends modem and the 192kbps was still there :(
